JUMPIRON FOR WORKPLACE TEAMS

On-Site Corporate Fitness Classes

Leveraging the gravitational resistance of jump rope and the effortless power of karate, JumpIron delivers a lifelong, sustainable workout that provides aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, full-body strength-endurance, power, balance, and agility.

Adapted with modern wearable tech, jump-rope sessions use heart-rate targets to control intensity from moderate to vigorous and guide gradual progression toward fitness and athletic goals.

Sessions are 30 minutes and can be held indoors or outdoors.

Introductory on-site pilot: $600

JumpIron is designed for organizations that want to offer employees a substantial fitness program through three 30-minute sessions per week without taking a large block out of the workday.

Three 30-Minute Sessions Per Week

What the Training Includes

JumpIron combines weighted jump rope, non-sparring karate fundamentals, and dynamic and isometric resistance exercises.

Weighted Jump Rope Intervals

Weighted jump rope is an exceptionally efficient, full-body, multi-joint exercise, engaging numerous muscles and muscle groups throughout the upper body, lower body, and core. Moderate-intensity intervals emphasize aerobic conditioning used in endurance activities such as running, cycling, and swimming. Vigorous intervals develop anaerobic conditioning for short bursts of speed and power. Sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, pickleball, boxing, and martial arts combine repeated anaerobic bursts with substantial aerobic demands over the course of play.

Non-Sparring Karate Fundamentals

Non-sparring karate fundamentals include kata, which are prearranged sequences of defensive and offensive movements performed solo against imaginary opponents, along with Shotokan basics emphasizing long, deep stances and drills that develop agility and power.

There is no sparring or physical contact between participants.

Dynamic and Isometric Resistance Exercises

Along with weighted jump rope and karate, these exercises further develop muscular strength and endurance, joint stability, and postural strength and stability, making JumpIron a comprehensive, full-body fitness program.

Jump-rope intervals use heart-rate targets to control intensity from moderate to vigorous. Heart-rate recovery can determine when the next interval begins.
